2004–2009 Studies in Art History, English Studies and German Studies at the University of Bonn. 2009 Master’s degree (Magister) with a thesis entitled “Das französische Paarporträt in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts” (supervisor: Prof. Roland Kanz). 09/2009–01/2011 and 09/2011–01/2012 Research assistant at the Institute of Art History, University of Bern. Since 2010 Doctoral candidate at the Institute of Art History, University of Bern, with a dissertation project titled “Kunstraum Theater: Fiktion, Imagination und Inszenierung um 1900”. Since 2010 Associated member of the Graduate School of the Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and the Social Sciences (IASH), University of Bern. 2012–2013 Fellowship for prospective researchers, Swiss National Science Foundation (research fellow in Cologne, Vienna, and New York). Since 03/2012 Associated member of the SNSF Sinergia project “The Interior. Art, Space, and Performance (Early Modern to Postmodern)” at the Institute of Art History, University of Bern. Since 09/2013 Teaching and research assistant at the Institute of Media Culture and Theatre, University of Cologne.
